Required overtime at work, responsibilities at church, and being completely exhausted, have kept us away from our toy this whole week. At the most, I've been able to drive by and pick up the mail. The other night though, we were able to pause and take a peek in side. What's that glowing dot of light coming from the kitchen? It's the rice cooker that mom brought up. What used to be a perfect batch of white rice, was now a rancid soup that smelled of vinegar and fart. Needless to say, we'll try to move food to the fridge promptly once we move in.
Today we're stopping by Bayside Paint to peek at some samples. They are the sole store to offer Ralph Lauren paint, and one of two stores to carry Yolo Colorhouse in San Diego.
This weekend is going to be huge! The upcoming four day weekend means four days of dedicated work on Bravado. We plan to complete painting the main area, toss the jacuzzi, and get started on laying down laminate.. maybe I can squeeze in some weed pulling and palm tree trimming. Too ambitious? Maybe, but being idle and away from home for a week is making us anxious.
