After a failed attempt at trying to coordinate window treatment for the dining room, we were discouraged enough to step away from Bravado and recompose ourselves.

A week later, we’re back in and we’ve got our game faces on! The flooring upstairs is now 99.9% done. I got a little crazy while removing the tack strips and cracked a couple tiles in the kitchen entryway. Money down the drain :( Honey’s dad came through with his new table saw. It’s made cutting the laminate planks lengthwise a breeze. We've had some hiccups along the way, but once he gets started, it's hard to get him to quit. Just a few more cuts, and we'll be done!

The back yard needs a lot of attention. Behind the shed, there's a towering tree that almost reaches the roof. Also residing behind the shed, is a huge vine that stretches up the side of our house, in to 2 of our neighbor's back yards, and pulls down our fence. After uprooting the vine, my dad was able to tame the lemon and lime trees on Sunday. I have a feeling that the vine is going to be around haunt us later. Though the back yard is finally getting some rest from all the rain, there's an area that remains soaked.

The smell of mom's cookies filled the house..

Dads work on the new table saw.

There's a corgi somewhere in this picture.

Someone's had a long day.
